1833, Black Bean Quesadilla

    Shopping list

    • 6 taco flour tortillas
    • 100g black beans
    • 100g grated 1833 Vintage Reserve Cheddar
    • 1 tsp Mexican spices
    • 1 tsp chipotle infused oil
    • 2-4 tbsp finely chopped coriander
    • Pinch of sea salt and cracked black pepper
    • Sliced Jalapenos [optional]
    • Oil for frying
    1. Step 1

      Preheat a large non-stick frying pan or cast iron skillet and prepare your quesadilla.
    2. Step 2

      Top each one with coriander, a spoonful of seasoned beans, grated cheese and jalapenos.
    3. Step 3

      Fold over and cook with a little oil for 2-3 mins each side until the tortilla crisps up and browns whilst the cheese inside melts. Serve with extra chopped coriander.
