Based in Ditcheat, Maryland Farm lies in the heart of rural Somerset. The perfect combination of a mild climate, plenty of rainfall and fertile soil results in lush grass for our dairy cows to eat.

generation of farmers

Our family have always been farmers. Today, more than 2,500 of our cows graze pastures that have produced cheddar for centuries. We use their milk to make PDO-accredited cheddar, certifying that our cheese is made using local milk, traditional techniques and is aged to perfection for at least nine months.
